The FORTLOX Series provides reliable security for technical infrastructure facilities, public buildings and large corporate sites. Consisting of the FORTLOX Cylinder and FORTLOX Key, the system can be managed centrally or locally via software.
The FORTLOX Cylinder is weatherproof, robust and entirely maintenance-free, making it ideal for infrequently used outdoor areas and demanding installation environments where secure protection is essential. It is operated using the intelligent FORTLOX Key, which securely stores all relevant access authorisations. Access rights and time restrictions are transmitted to the key via the SmartStick AX, the SYNC2Go application* or SmartRelay 3.

The FORTLOX Key
:: Access rights are stored on the key and can be updated via SmartRelay or smartphone*.
:: The FORTLOX Key can also be used as a transponder – for example, for thumb-turn cylinders and hardware within the SimonsVoss 3060 system environment.
:: The FORTLOX Key is a multifunctional identification medium that serves not just as a key, but also as an active transponder, BLE communication interface and optional RFID medium.

As secure as a fortress: Extreme testing at the SimonsVoss lab
The FORTLOX Cylinder has passed all quality tests at the SimonsVoss lab with ease. Our video demonstrates the extreme tests - from accidental de-icing using a lighter to exposure to cylinder spray and fire.
In accordance with DIN EN 15684, the FORTLOX Cylinder achieves the highest certification class in all required categories: durability, fire and smoke resistance, environmental resistance, access authorisation security, system management and attack resistance.
